Call for abstracts for
Retributivism:
Essays on Theory, Policy, and Practice

I am currently soliciting abstracts for an edited volume on retributivist punishment, with interest from Cambridge University Press. In the last several years much new ground has been broken in studying the philosophical foundations of retributivism, evaluating the practical issues involved in implementing a retributivist system of punishment, and assessing the retributivist orientation of current criminal justice systems. This book will be the first edited collection of its kind, providing an up-to-date selection of arguments for and against retributivism, in terms of theory, policy, and practice.
I encourage proposals for chapters dealing with any aspect of retributivism, especially those listed above, and regardless of the stance taken (for or against).
